Monza, inauguration of the exhibition dedicated to Ayrton Senna

The exhibition “Ayrton Senna. The last night”, set up in the spaces of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Museum of Speed.

Monza, inauguration of the exhibition dedicated to Ayrton Senna
The exhibition will remain open to the public from 18 February until the 24 July. A unique opportunity to retrace the sporting career, but also the most intimate aspects of the Brazilian champion, through a selection of around one hundred photographs by Ercole Colombo, one of the greatest Formula 1 photographers. The exhibition itinerary, enriched by texts by Giorgio Terruzzi , traces Ayrton Senna's most significant moments: his beginnings with karting, his debut in the world of Formula 1, historic victories and defeats, his friends, colleagues and rival drivers, the complex relationship with Alain Prost, the loves, the faith, family dynamics and his last dramatic hours on the track.

The public will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an exciting and engaging story that culminates with the pilot's last night, spent in the now famous "Suite 200" of the Hotel Castello in Castel San Pietro, near the Imola circuit. In an evocative room, in a room suspended in time and space, visitors will be able to share the sensations, the reflections of a night full of thoughts from which emerges the unpublished portrait of a champion, but also and above all of a particularly sensitive person, whose disappearance has left a void that cannot be filled.

The exhibition, curated by Giorgio Terruzzi and Ercole Colombo, is conceived, produced and organized by ViDi in collaboration with the Monza National Autodrome and the Villa Reale and Monza Park Consortium.
