Mondadori sells Marsilio Publishers to the Save Family De Michelis for 8,9 million euro. The operation, carried out by the publishing group through the subsidiary Rizzoli Libri, concerns 94,71% of the share capital of Marsilio.

The consideration collected by Mondadori for the transaction includes "a positive adjusted net financial position of 1,3 million euro", reads the group's note.

The sale of Marsilio Editori - recalls the press release - was carried out in compliance with remedies indicated by the Antitrust provision as part of the Rizzoli Libri transaction finalized on 14 April 2016.

Gem Srl, a company active in the publishing sector, which belongs to the De Michelis family, held a stake in Marsilio Editori SpA from 1985 until April 2016. Marsilio Editori's budget for the 2016 financial year forecasts revenues of approximately 9,4 XNUMX million euros with an Ebitda of one million euros.
