A advertising level the company recorded an increase of +4,7% compared to the first half of the previous year and as regards circulation revenues it grew by +2,1%.
The result comes on the heels of the success of Grace France, which turns two and celebrates first place among the French 'News Fashion Magazines'. Grace France is at second place overall for number of advertising pages of the entire French market: 2.436 pages collected in one year (October 2010 – September 2011), up by 63% (+942 pages). Ahead is only the historic French magazine Elle, which however is not far away: it collects only a few hundred more pages.
The weekly, informs a note from Mondadori, has reached one average circulation of 182.726 copies per week with an increase of 3% compared to 2010. Only in the months of July and August Grazia recorded circulation growth in France, compared to the same period of the previous year, of 17,5%, reaching 210.000 copies sold per week.
The website Grazia.fr reached 400.000 unique visitors with 4 million page views per month, and in September marked the record for accesses to the site with more than 5 million pages visited. The Grazia France application for iPhone has been downloaded by over 300.000 users and has more than 2 million page views per month.
In terms of diffusion, good growth has also been recorded women's monthlies of the group, among which Top Sante' (+ 11,2%), Modes & Travaux (+ 11%) and Biba (+7,4%); the positive performance of the publications of the Science pole (+1,8%); the strengthening of the leadership of the auto sector (1,6 million copies a month) and the brilliant performances of Tele' Star (1.046.149 copies) and Closer (431.686 copies). Finally, the digital activities were further strengthened thanks to the acquisition, in September 2011, of Autoreflex.com, according to automotive classifieds portal
"These positive results confirm the goodness of the strategy focused on strengthening our titles with a high circulation, accompanied by a policy of constant improvement of the editorial quality and the success of an innovative newspaper like Grazia", declared Ernesto Mauri, president of Mondadori France.
