According to some sources close to the operation, Moleskine's listing on the Stock Exchange is proceeding rapidly. The company that produces the well-known notebook by Chatwin has in fact begun the process for the IPO and aims to list a 50% stake represented by both existing shares and newly issued securities.
The operation should be completed by the end of March and the price fork will be fixed within the next two weeks. Moleskine, controlled by the private equity operator Syntegra Capital, should be valued at around 600 million euros, about 15 times the EBITDA forecast for 2013.
