UniCredit participate in the initiative “MiniPia Turismo – Integrated Concession Packages”, a benefits program aimed at tourism-hotel businesses of every size. The objective is to support access to credit for companies that invest in Puglia region.
The aims of the program
The Puglia Region, through Puglia Sviluppo as an intermediate body, offers benefits in the form of a non-repayable contribution and contribution towards installations on interest on bank financing. These measures support investments to improve the quality standards of the tourism offer, promote ecological services and digitalize businesses in the tourism sector. The support also includes training of operators and qualification of employment, with particular attention to female employment.
Investments must look at the recovery of existing assets such as abandoned buildings, farms, historic buildings, trulli, towers and fortifications, to be converted into tourist-hotel or non-hotel facilities with at least 5 rooms.
Investment programs must cover eligible expenses up to 90% of the integrated package, with additional expenses for innovation, training, consultancy, internationalisation, participation in trade fairs, environmental protection and energy efficiency. Investments for business networks or consortia must fall between 500.000 euros and 2 million euros.
La measure is multi-annual and will remain open untilexhaustion of available resources, without a defined deadline.
