Microsoft: three big investors against Bill Gates

Three of Microsoft's 20 big investors are pressing Bill Gates to step down as president of the group. The co-founder of the computer giant owns 4,5% of the company and is the largest single shareholder.

According to sources close to the matter reported by the Guardian, the three investors fear that the Gates presidency could hinder new strategies and limit the power of the managing director who will be appointed in place of Steve Ballmer, who left Microsoft two days ago.
