In March, the pink jersey for natural gas ETFs. Exchange traded products (ETPs) on natural gas – as noted by Sara Silano on Morningstar – gave the best performance among European replicators in March. Lee Davidson, ETF analyst at Morningstar Europe, analyzed that the rise was between 14 and 18%, depending on the underlying reference index. Natural gas ETCs have been among the most traded in the last year (as revealed by Borsa Italiana statistics) and in particular the daily leveraged natural gas ETFs have been. 

The biggest declines in the month of March were recorded, however, in ETPs specialized on volatility, with declines between 9 and 17%. Various ETPs on volatility indices are listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, to which the ETF Dynamic short has recently been added.
