Maneuver, Napolitano signed. Tremonti: "Law by August"

Finally the decree for the economic maneuver has left the Quirinale. This morning the provision was signed by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, and today it will be published in the Official Gazette. This was announced by the Undersecretary to the Prime Minister, Gianni Letta, who opened the press conference to present the maneuver at the Economy Ministry in the early afternoon, specifying that the drafting of the provision did not cause lacerations in the Government.

The text will become "definitive law in early August", explained the owner of Via XX Settembre, Giulio Tremonti, during the same conference at the Treasury. The superminister responded in a polemical tone to those who accused him of not having done enough for the country's development: an objective that cannot be achieved "with a single law or a single government, because economic growth does not depend on a single act or from an instantaneous moment”. So, on the contrary, it is the mere budget that depends "on the Government and on the single law".
