In detail, Maire Tecnimont announced that the Consortium made up of some of its subsidiaries (86%) and the Turkish company Ustay AS (14%) was awarded Phase II of the expansion project of the Sonara complex in Cameroon which concerns the construction of a new Hydrocracker Complex inside the refinery located in Limbè (in the south-west of the country). The total value of the contract is equal to approximately 715 million dollars, of which approximately 612 million pertains to the Maire Tecnimont Group. Completion of the project is scheduled for the second half of 2017. The news sends the stock flying at market opening with +5,42%, +0,98% by mid-morning.

Tbs Group continues its expansion process in Latin America by winning, through its 100% subsidiary Tbs Es, a contract with the Barros Luco Trudeau Hospital of Santiago in Chile for the supply of clinical engineering services. Noemalife has signed the first contract in Saudi Arabia, worth about half a million dollars, for the installation of software for the complete management of the analysis laboratories at the Armed Forces Hospital Southern Region of Khamis Mushait. NoemaLife, which operates in the Gulf region through its Dubai office, opened in 2012, will supply the AFHSR with various diagnostic IT solutions: DNLAB, the Laboratory Information System designed for the total management of analysis laboratories, even multi-site, already deployed in 920 clinical chemistry laboratories and 620 microbiology laboratories worldwide; ATHENA, the advanced complete workflow management software for pathological anatomy departments; HALIA, the NoemaLife instrumental middleware solution that allows you to centrally manage all the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical instrumentation of the analysis laboratory, which is enjoying success at an international level. “This contract constitutes an important starting point in our penetration strategy in the Gulf countries”, declared Francesco Serra, president and managing director of the NoemaLife group, “Saudi Arabia is a geopolitical player of absolute importance in the Middle Eastern arena, where we have to deal with the complexity of markets that are culturally, linguistically and geographically distant from us and where there are very strong foreign operators, even larger than us. We think we are able to overcome the challenge represented by this complexity by virtue of the high quality of the products we offer, the flexibility that distinguishes them and the competence of our sales network."

After a more than positive opening with +3,96%, Noemalife's share lost 0,58% in the mid-morning.
