Londinum Cask Festival: the event dedicated to English beers in Rome

A three day event dedicated to English beers. To host it is a historic pub in the center of Rome, the Tree Folk's, which, from 25 to 28 February, will celebrate English-style beers served strictly in casks (41-litre barrels) during the London Cash Festival.

The festival will host 30 breweries with their brewers, in a celebration of the English brewing tradition, one of the most particular and recognized in the world. During the event there will be a sort of friendly match between Italy and England and in particular between their capitals, Rome and London. In fact, you will have the opportunity to taste both Real Ale "original" English, and "local" produced according to Anglo-Saxon tradition and methods, rigorously in cask.

Real Ale, or the typical English beers, have the particularity of being smooth, gravity-fed without adding carbon dioxide directly from the barrel. Unpasteurized and unfiltered, they are obtained with traditional raw materials and served at room temperature.

For the entire duration of the event, from 11:30 in the morning to 2:30 in the night, it will also be possible to taste typical English dishes, such as "fish & chips", or start the day with a tasty "English breakfast".
