Clean lists, green light from the House commissions

The positive opinion on the legislative decree on the ineligibility of definitively sentenced persons was unanimously approved by the Constitutional Affairs and Justice commissions of the Chamber - Severino: "We do not exclude an extraordinary Council of Ministers".

Clean lists, green light from the House commissions

The Constitutional Affairs and Justice Committees of the House unanimously approved (with eleven observations and no conditions) the opinion on the legislative decree for ineligibility and the prohibition to hold elective offices and government for the definitively convicted.

Therefore, after yesterday's Senate yes, the Government will now be able to give the definitive green light to the law in the next Council of Ministers, which could be convened as early as tomorrow, so as to make it operational before the elections.

Satisfaction among the ministers for the favorable opinion of the commissions. Minister Severino does not rule out the possibility of convening “an extraordinary Council of Ministers, if necessary, for the definitive launch. It can also be done with single rooms”.
