The stops for 2020: the restaurants of Italian haute cuisine rise to 93

In the 93 edition of Le Soste, the brands of Italian haute cuisine rise to 2020 with 7 new Partners: Sarri (Imperia), D'O (San Pietro all'Olmo, Cornaredo, Milan), Nostrano (Pesaro), Pascucci al Porticciolo (Fiumicino, Rome), Tordomatto (Rome), Villa Maiella (Guardiagrele, Chieti) and a special tribute to Maestro Gualtiero Marchesi − founding father of Le Soste together with other illustrious names − with La Terrazza di Tremezzo, on Lake Como .

The decalogue of excellent catering in the double linguistic edition, Italian and English, is introduced by interventions by authoritative contributors who recount "their first stop", each recalling a unique experience that has remained etched in their memory in one of the Le Soste restaurants: Luigi Cremona, Andrea Grignaffini, Luigi Franchi, Margo Schachter, Anna Prandoni, Marco Colognese, Alberto Cauzzi, Marisa Fumagalli, Alberto Lupini.

At the beginning of the volume, the agreement signed by the Association with the Municipality of Milan and Sogemi Mercato Alimentare Milano is reported for the purpose of promoting the philosophy of fresh products in our agro-food heritage. A program that appears of absolute importance and contemporaneity in the context of the situation caused by COVID19, where every action to promote food and wine culture is fundamental for the health of citizens.

A section dedicated to FIPE, the Italian Federation of Public Establishments, describes the purpose of the agreement which led the Le Soste Association to participate in the Federation, with the common aim of protecting and promoting Catering, a primary sector of the Italian economy, fundamental for the enhancement of tourism and agri-food culture in the area.

A fixed point of the Le Soste yearbook is represented by the awards, seven in this latest edition, awarded in collaboration between the Association and partner companies and associations to enhance personalities or entrepreneurial realities that have distinguished themselves in the food & wine scene of excellence.
