The Intesa Sanpaolo mobile app is among the best European banking apps for functionality and user experience. This was established by the market research company Forrester in the report "The Forrester Digital Experience Review TM: European Mobile Banking Apps, Q4 2020".
The Italian bank's App is considered a benchmark in four out of twelve categories: money handling, search and navigation, content, error correction and recovery.
"Intesa Sanpaolo also achieved an excellent result in terms of user experience and stood out for the effectiveness of the functions offered", underlines the bank in a note.
“Our App is one of the most used among European banks and is at the heart of our digital retail strategy” – he says Stefano Barrese, head of Banca dei Territori of Intesa Sanpaolo. “We are proud of this result, which encourages us to continue on the path we have taken. Over the course of the 2018-2021 Business Plan we are pursuing a 'Mobile first' digital strategy in retail banking, concentrating the majority of investments on Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile and other apps of our Group".
According to the data provided by Barrese, there are more than 6 million Intesa Sanpaolo customers who use the App, with 93% of accesses now transferred to apps.
“Our app has strongly supported the robust growth of “closed” purchases on digital channels of our products and services which today represent around 30% of Banca dei Territori's total sales (including offers sent remotely by managers) and about 10% if we consider only the "fully digital" offers managed completely in self by our customers", underlines the manager.
