It was enough for the CEO of Finmeccanica, Alessandro Pansa, to start the road show in the City of London confirming his firm intention to get out of transport and to put an end to the abyss of losses represented by the black hole of AnsaldoBreda for the stock to run on the Stock Exchange, where he came close to a 7% rise after sessions and sessions of suffering.
London analysts were immediately appreciative and some of the main brokers confirmed the "Buy" recommendation on the condition that Finmeccanica also releases AnsaldoBreda for free.
The emphasis placed by Pansa on the transport emergency is the signal that something is actually on the move and that Finmeccanica intends to solve the critical transport issues once and for all.
