The stock exchange is preparing for mid-August: reduced trading, positive lists but little momentum. Ferragamo does well in Milan

The stock exchange is preparing for mid-August: reduced trading, positive lists but little momentum. Ferragamo does well in Milan

Positive but with juice European stock exchanges who are approaching the mid-August break without major tensions. The decline ofUS inflation it did not warm spirits too much: in fact, the confirmations on the next ones arrived in real time from the Fed rate hikes. In this context, however, the Eurozone price lists are all positive: Business Square +0,33% above 22.700 points on modest trades, no more than 400 million in value. In the rest of Europe, among other titles, Aegon topped the STOXX 600 with an 8,7% gain after raising forecasts for 2021-2023 working capital generation and free cash flow. The European index of insurance sector gains 0,85%., and is among the sectors that show the best performance. Also Zurich it advanced 2,02% after posting a higher-than-expected increase in operating profit in the first half. In Milan Generali yields 0,20%.

European stock exchanges: Siemens in red. Reduced exchanges

First red after 12 years for Siemens -1,3%. The German company closes the third quarter with a net loss of 1,5 billion, mainly caused by the devaluation of Siemens Energy.

Scarce trading also on the bond front. The Bten-year tp is around 3%, the spread stands at around 207 points. For Italy, expectations are positive with the ECB which has reinvested 10 billion euros from the resources maturing from the PEPP, in Italian securities.

Ferragamo goes up in Milan, futures up on Wall Street

Among the few notable notes in Piazza Affari it stands out Ferragamo +2% afteragreement with the online luxury site Farfetch. 

Among the bankers, opposed, It always stands out Bper which reduces the rise in the first part of the session to +0,5%. After the lows since November 2020 reached in mid-July, the stock is gaining 35% also in the wake of the quarterly results well above expectations.

In the rest of the sector in red unicredit, slightly above parity.

Well collected Tim +1,4% and Poste Italiane +0,7% which is preparing an important advertising campaign to launch its electricity and gas offer. The proposal should be that of a flat offer.

The rise of Juventus +2,7% in the center of the transfer market. 

A Wall Street futures are up slightly: S&P500 +0,3%. NASDAQ+0,2%. Dow Jones +0,3%

The new subsidy requests and July producer prices will be released today.

To follow Walt Disney +7% after yesterday's stock market after publishing data better than expected. Earnings per share were $1,09, above expectations by $0,96. 

Applied Materials quarterly will be released before opening.
