L Capital Management, private equity of LVMH, raises funds for 400 million

The L Capital Management company, founded in 2001 under the patronage of the Bernard Arnault group, has closed the funding for the new L Capital 400 fund at 3 million euros, which will invest in particular in mid-range European lifestyle brands.

Company L Capital Management, private equity created in 2011 and sponsored by LVMH and the Arnault Group, has just closed at 400 million euros funding for the new L Capital 3 fund which will invest in particular in mid-range European lifestyle brands.

L Capital currently manages three mutual funds for a total sum of approximately one billion euros. Furthermore, it accompanies the development of expanding companies, concentrating its activity in four sectors: Beauty and Wellness, Personal accessories, Home and family accessories, and Specialized distribution.

The private equity firm is based in Paris, Milan and Madrid and invests particularly in Europe, but also in North America and Asia: over the past ten years, has taken stakes in 22 companies, including Energy brand (vitamin drinks, USA), Gant (Swedish sportswear), Forte Pharma (food, Monaco), La Gardenia (perfumes and cosmetics, Italy), Princess Yachts (nautical, UK), and the SMCP group (French pret-à-porter).
