Andrea Cuomo is the new president of IW Bank, the institution of the UBI Banca group specializing in consultancy, trading and online banking products and services, which renewed its board of directors.
Cuomo takes the place of Massimo Capuano, president of the bank from 2013 until the end of his mandate last March. After serving as executive vice president of Special Products at Stmicroelectronics, Cuomo is now chairman of the executive committee of Sacertis Knowledge, a Swiss group specializing in the monitoring and diagnostics of civil engineering structures. Since May 2019, he has been a member of the board of directors of Ubi Sistemi e Servizi, the UBI Banca Group company responsible for information technology, purchasing and property management activities.
Four new managers enter the board of directors of IW Bank: Elisabetta Beatrice Cugnasca, Antonella Della Rovere, Leonardo Rubattu and Paolo Prandi, who also assumes the position of chairman of the Management Control Committee at IWBank. On the other hand, Elvio Sonnino, Deputy General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, Frederik Geertman, Deputy General Manager and Chief Commercial Officer of UBI Banca were confirmed.
