Intesa Sanpaolo launches a new 5-year bond

Intesa Sanpaolo launched this morning a senior bond with a five-year maturity. The expected yield is in the area of ​​100 basis points above the midswap rate and the closing of orders is expected during the day. The operation is managed by Banca IMI, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Sg Cib. 

The bank's last bond issue dates back to 8 September, when a one billion euro Tier 2 subordinated benchmark bond was placed, with a coupon of 3,928% and a 12-year maturity. Orders had reached 3,25 billion. 

The last senior bond, with a seven-year maturity, dates back to June and brought one billion euros into Intesa's coffers, against a demand of 3,4 billion. 

Today, at the end of the morning, the Intesa share on the Stock Exchange gains 1,9%, to 2,29 euros.
