Intesa Sanpaolo, the contest for aspiring financial advisors

Today and tomorrow, Friday 20 July, at the Bonola headquarters of Intesa Sanpaolo in Milan, around 80 young graduates and undergraduates in economics, finance, banking and law will participate in Make It Real, the Bank's corporate contest in its second edition. The first was in Turin, while the next will take place in Naples next September and will be the first of a series of competitions planned throughout the country.

Those who obtain the best results will have the opportunity to access a six-month training internship following which - those who have obtained the financial advisor license - can be hired. There are 500 recruitments envisaged, each with an innovative "mixed" type contract which combines the same person and the same employer with a permanent part-time employment relationship and a parallel self-employment contract of financial advisor.

“Make It Real is a recruitment format designed to meet young people by replacing the traditional selection phases with interviews. Through a two-day contest, young people have the opportunity to bring out their talent by competing in teams on case studies specially created according to the different recruitment needs, in this case for the Banca dei Territori", commented Roberto Cascella, head of the People Management & HR Transformation Intesa Sanpaolo department.

“The contribution of young people is crucial to give even more of our activities in the area the dynamism we hope for – declared the head of personnel and Change Management of the Banca dei Territori, Virginia Borla. “We aim to offer an integrated and complete service to our customers. This means acting not in a product logic but in terms of need, therefore in terms of consultancy and assistance so that they always find the answers they are looking for".
