Agreement between Intesa Sanpaolo and Enel X to encourage investments in energy from renewable sources and the energy independence of companies and the country through a synergy aimed at encouraging the creation of Renewable Energy Communities.
The agreement comes as part of "Motore Italia Energy Transition", the banking group's program launched a few weeks ago to encourage investments in renewable sources with a specific project linked to the CERs, in line with the objectives of the Pnrr and the European Green Deal.
The agreement between Intesa Sanpaolo and Enel X
The collaboration between Intesa and Enel X constitutes a first partnership “as part of the strategy aimed at guaranteeing Italian companies the technical support and consultancy of specialized and selected partners that Intesa Sanpaolo is developing to promote the CERs on the territories and in private spaces, in particular on industrial roofs present in our country, quantified in over 100.000 industrial roofs available to accommodate photovoltaic systems” says the bank led by Carlo Messina in a note.
Companies interested in participating in the Energy Communities, in addition to the support of the Intesa Sanpaolo Energy desk, will now also be able to count on the experience and specialization of Enel X in the role of accelerator in the process of diffusion of renewable energy communities.
Under the agreement with Intesa Sanpaolo, the companies that request it will interface with Enel X for the appropriate assessments of the solutions aimed at creating an energy community as an efficient and sustainable ecosystem: from the construction of photovoltaic plants to the creation and technical management /economic of the community itself, from monitoring the state of service of the community to stimulating the electrification of consumption through efficient technologies and digital platforms.
