Intesa Sanpaolo, zero POS commissions below 15 euros

Intesa Sanpaolo and FIPE (Italian Federation of Public Establishments) have signed an agreement in favor of the more than 100.000 companies associated with the Federation that operate in the catering, entertainment and tourism sectors. The goal is to provide companies with tailor-made tools for daily operations and to respond to new needs: digital payments, electronic invoicing and financing to increase the quality of services and the ability to compete. To encourage digital payments, even for small amounts, the agreement provides for the zeroing of commissions charged to merchants for all POS transactions of less than 15 euros. In terms of loans, an exclusive offer has been defined to support investment programs with dedicated conditions and innovative ways of accessing credit. Furthermore, the maturity of the loan reserved for creditors of QUI! Group, still in difficulty following the bankruptcy of the company, has been extended.

FIPE members, new Intesa Sanpaolo customers, will also be able to count on the Best Premium package, which includes a current account with unlimited transactions, with the possibility of including additional products and services at advantageous conditions. Among the innovative products and services that complete the offer included in the agreement, Intesa Sanpaolo provides Digifattura, the service for managing electronic invoicing, and InfoVendite, a marketing intelligence platform that allows merchants equipped with POS to view the sales performance, to compare it with that of competitors and to analyze the purchasing behavior of customers. Lastly, training meetings are scheduled in the main cities in the coming months with the aim of improving the financial literacy of member companies and facilitating the relationship between companies and the bank.

“The issue of access to credit is increasingly important even in small businesses. It is not only a question of costs but above all of tools suitable for their development needs. The collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo intends to give concrete answers to the pressing questions that come to us from our shareholders towards whom we also undertake to start a series of meetings on the territory to improve the relationship with the bank and to develop the financial culture of companies " , declared Roberto Calugi, Director General of FIPE – Italian Federation of Public Establishments. “We felt it was important to respond with an agreement dedicated to the specific needs of FIPE members, since catering, entertainment and tourism are a strategic sector for Italy. As a banking partner, we wish to contribute to the growth and development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, offering innovative services and facilitating access to credit thanks also to the diffusion of a better financial culture", said Andrea Lecce, head of the Sales & Marketing Department Individuals and Retail Companies of Intesa Sanpaolo.
