Intesa Sanpaolo he successfully placed his first sustainability bonds, "intended to support the loans granted by the Bank as part of the 5 billion euro plafond dedicated to the circular economy, launched last year", the Bank said in a note.

The issue was mainly subscribed by institutional investors: asset managers (75%), banks and private banking (10%), public bodies (10%), insurance companies and pension funds (4%).

Banca IMI and Crédit Agricole CIB acted as such green structuring advisor e joint bookrunner. Ing and Société Générale acted as joint bookrunner of the operation.
