Inps, 77 young people under 24 hired with tax relief

More than 650 people benefit from the tax deduction on permanent contracts. However, the percentage of under 24s affected by the benefit is worrying, only 11,9%.

Inps, 77 young people under 24 hired with tax relief

They are only 77 thousand – out of the approximately 652 subsidized workers – young people under 24 hired with no contributions. In 71,4% of cases, the relief was used to give people over 30 years of age a stable job.

The bracket that has enjoyed the greatest number of subsidized contracts is that between 30 and 39 years, followed by that 40-49 years.
The data released byINPS confirm two main trends: young people have to wait a long time before emerging from precariousness, and, above all, a large part of the relief was used by companies to stabilize already hired workers

Thanks to the decontribution, in 2015 almost one and a half million people were hired who benefited from an incentive. The decontribution has been added to 32 concessions already present, divided into 6 categories: mixed contracts, permanent contracts, temporary contracts, stabilization, job retention and the disabled.

Also new in 2015 were the incentives for hiring program participants Youth Guarantee. According to INPS, only 6.133 have had a permanent contract out of about 900 young people registered.
