Expo is approaching, and a little less than two months from the start of the event which will keep Milan busy for 6 months (until October 31st), the book “The Provocations of EXPO – The health of the planet in the hands of the consumer” (InDialogo editions, 11,90 euros, 144 pp.). The volume, written by Andrew Martyr e David Tentori, exponents of the cultural association ”Il Caffè Geopolitico”, which publishes the same name online magazine (www.ilcaffegeopolitico.org), it is proposed to deepen the contents of the slogan "Feeding the planet: energy for life”, offering a concrete contribution on the overview of the central topics of the debate relating to the themes of Expo. 

Expo 2015 will see events and exhibitions from over 144 countries, united by the common thread of food safety, and the book analyzes global problems, such as the undernourishment and malnutritionovercrowding of the population, it waste of food and intensive exploitation of the grounds. However, they are also offered some possible solutions: global issues whose solution can also start to come from a change in behavior from below, thanks to a greater responsibility and awareness of the citizen/consumer.
