Entrepreneurship and Management for 2030: Polytechnic, Cuoa and Skillab course concluded in Turin

The course Entrepreneurship and Management for 2030 crosses his first finish line. Last Friday, April 8, the first edition of the advanced managerial and entrepreneurial training course created by the Turin Polytechnic, Cuoa and Skillab, the Center for the enhancement of human resources of the Turin Industrial Union, concluded. In its first and second edition, the course had support and contribution from the Turin Chamber of Commerce. The third edition is scheduled for October 2022.

In detail, the executive path has seen the classic pillars of business management combined with those of innovation and new trends such as digital transformation and sustainability strategies in terms of ESG factors (Environment, Social Impact, Governance). These are increasingly relevant issues for management, so much so that the European Commission estimates that the value of the data economy will go from 2,4% in 2018 to 5,8% of EU GDP in 2025 for a total of 829 billion euros.

Paul Neirotti, Director of the Master's School, underlined how the training project has made it possible "to fill a gap in the offer of management training in the Italian north-west". While Joseph Caldiera, General Manager of CUOA Business School stated that "sustainability and digitization are not options, they are pillars on which the business model and growth plans of our companies must and must increasingly be based". And that precisely on this assumption it was possible to "carry out a concrete and useful skills development project for those who today, be they managers or entrepreneurs, must lead the transformation of companies, in highly uncertain contexts".

Albert Lazarus, President of the Turin Industrial Union Young Entrepreneurs Group, commented on the "innovative and interactive" format with "concrete focus on case studies" that made the course "usable and usable right away". While Philip Sertorius, President of Piccola Industria Unione Industriali Torino, highlighted how "broad and in-depth training is necessary to be able to quickly decide the course for the growth of one's company".
