Oil drops again and ballasts the Stock Exchanges: in Milan Pirelli, Finmeccanica and Stm against the tide

The price of oil falls again and penalizes stock lists, starting from London: Milan loses 1% – Tenaris and Eni down but gains also on CNH, Ferragamo and Mps – Pirelli, Finmeccanica, Stm, Campari and Acea go against the trend – Saipem's dividend only for savings – The Greek unknown factor and the approaching rise in US interest rates weigh heavily.

Business Square takes a break. After four days of increases, the Milan Stock Exchange falls by 0,97%, with the Ftse Mib index at 22.345 points. The disappointing data of the January industrial production (-2,2%) as well as the stalemate in the negotiations between Athens and the Eurogroup. The negative trend is amplified by the downward trend of the New York Stock Exchange, under the pressure of the superdollar. 

In fact, the descent of theeuro: the single currency fell to 1,071 to its lowest level in April 2003. The other European lists also fell: Frankfurt -0,6% Paris -1,12% London, affected by the drop in energy stocks and commodities, fell by 2,35%. Down in New York also the Dow Jones (-1,37%) and the Nasdaq (-1,54%).

The yields of BTP ten-year contract fell to 1,22%, overtaking i passes Spaniards, more sensitive to the difficulties of Greece. The spread is stable at 98, thanks to the drop in the yield Waist

Also in Piazza Affari the energy is slowing down in the wake of the drop in the crude: Brent at 7,9 dollars (-0.9%), Wti at 39,6 dollars (-0,6%). Eni down 1,7%, Tenaris -2,8% Saipem -1,5%.

Among the banks, only a few Popular ones rise: Pop.Emilia + 1,3% Pop.Milan + 1%. Unicredit -0,7% Understanding -0,1%. Heavy Mount Paschi -2,5%.

It stands out among industrial stocks Pirelli (+3%). The auto production boom in January is not stimulating much Fiat Chrysler +0,3%. It shines Brembo +3%, on the new historical record.

Sharp reduction of Cnh Industrial (-2,5%). Well StM (+2,5%). He runs Finmeccanica up 2,4% after yesterday's hearing of CEO Mauro Moretti in the Senate: the manager announced a net ordinary result for 2014 that was 700 million euro better than in 2013.
