The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, has awarded Franco Locatelli, co-founder and Director of FIRSTonline, an independent web journal of economics and finance, the honor of Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic.
The appointment decree, promoted motu proprio by the Head of State, was, as usual, countersigned by the Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte.
Locatelli commented on the appointment as follows: "I thank the President of the Republic for the qualifying honor with which he wanted to gratify me which, beyond the personal aspects, I consider a certificate of merit and a further legitimation of professional reliability of FIRSTonline, the publication of economic and financial information that I helped found and have been directing for over 9 years"
