Herambiente buys the environmental assets of Geo Nova

Herambiente has announced that it has acquired some environmental business units from Geo Nova spa. Specifically, Herambiente, the Hera Group company leader in Italy in the treatment and recovery of waste, has acquired the storage plant for hazardous and non-hazardous waste in San Vito al Tagliamento (Pordenone) and the active landfills for non-hazardous waste in Loria (Treviso) and Sommacampagna (Verona).

Through this transaction, the Hera Group further expands its corporate perimeter in the North East, an area in which it has been present since 2013 thanks to the incorporation of AcegasAps (Padua and Trieste) and from 1 July 2014 of Amga (Udine), now united in the subsidiary AcegasApsAmga .

In particular, this acquisition responds to the logic of development and commercial strengthening in areas where Herambiente is already active, thus extending its plant fleet and providing a more complete offer to customers in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, regions in which it owns and already manages the waste-to-energy plants in Padua and Trieste and the storage plant in Padua.
