Hera: 9-month earnings +14%, the gas sector is doing well

Ivy closes the accounts for the first nine months of 2018 with revenues at 4,348 billion (up 8% on an annual basis), gross operating margin to 748,6 million (+3,3%) e Net income for shareholders at 208,7 million (+14,1%). There net financial position it stands at 2,64 billion, substantially stable compared to 2,61 billion in the first nine months of 2017, considering the distribution of dividends.

- operational investments of the group as at 30 September 2018, gross of capital grants, amounted to 296,6 million euros, up by 7% compared to the same period of 2017 and in line with the provisions of the Business Plan.

The Bologna-based multiutility underlines in a note “the good contribution to growth by all businesses and in particular in the gas sector".

Hera also speaks of a “management characterized by the good results of organic growth” and a “solid customer base in the energy sectors (approximately 2,5 million), an increase of approximately 100 thousand units compared to the first nine months of 2017”.

Finally, the note concludes, in Hera la's reference area collection it grew to 61,4%.

Early in the afternoon the stock on the stock exchange of Hera yields 1,6%, to 2,50 euro when the Ftse Mib is down by 0,58%.

Excellent results also for the Roman multiutility That, which archives the first 9 months of 2018 with a net profit of 215 million euros, up 41% on an annual basis. Ebitda for the period amounted to 685 million (+9%), while Ebit reached 381 million (+31%) and investments rose to 413 million (+12%). As for debt, as at 30 September it amounted to 2,631 billion, an increase compared to the 2,421 billion at the end of 2017. Finally, the guidance relating to the EBITDA was adjusted upwards, with an increase of more than 6% (in the guidance June 2018 was higher than +5%).
