Hera, success for the first Italian green bond

The maturity of the securities is 10 years and the total value of the issue is equal to 500 million euro. The yield, on the other hand, was set at 100 basis points above the midswap rate – At the closing of the books, orders amounted to around 1,7 billion.

Ivy yesterday launched the first Italian green bond. The maturity of the securities is 10 years and the total value of the issue is equal to 500 million euro. The yield, however, was set at 100 basis points above the midswap rate. At the closing of the books, orders amounted to approximately 1,7 billion.

Green bonds are bonds in which the issuer undertakes to provide the investor with broader information on the use of the funds raised, which will be destined for projects with a positive environmental impact, for example aimed at cutting emissions, the increase in energy efficiency or the increase in the use of renewable sources.

Hera's operation is managed by Banca Imi, Bnp Paribas, Credit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, Mediobanca and Unicredit. 

On the equity side, today, one hour after the opening, Hera's stock on the Stock Exchange drops 1,13%, to 2,106 euro.
