Green light from the Boards of Hera and Amga (58,69% Municipality of Udine) for the merger by incorporation of the second into the first. The merger will be followed by the transfer of the gas distribution activities of Amga within AcegasAps (which following the operation will change its name to AcegasApsAmga) and of the energy sales and heat management activities within Hera Comm, which will maintain legal autonomy. company name and registered office in Udine.

The Municipality of Udine will become part of the Hera Syndicate Agreement with its representative and will be present on the AcegasAps Board of Directors. The aggregation of Amga follows by a few months the strengthening of the Hera group (again through AcegasAps), in the activities in the province of Gorizia and represents a further step in the policy of development and rationalization of the presence of the Bologna multiutility in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, which can already count on the industrial and operational roots of AcegasAps, integrated at the beginning of 2013. The new reality, the joint statement explains, territorially homogeneous and able to exploit the already existing industrial base, will be able, with even greater efficiency and effectiveness, to respond to the growing needs of the service of the territory
