The commitment of the Hera Group, through the Rifiutologo, the separate waste collection app launched in May and now in its second version. The Alexa Skill can now also tell us where to contain every single waste or show us the closest ecological station. Currently, the app has surpassed 520 downloads.
In addition to the functionality that has already been available for some months concerning the information on the door-to-door calendar, now the Skill Alexa "the waste specialist" it also explains how to separate waste collection.
In particular, the voice assistant can indicate us in which container a specific waste must be thrown, going to fill one of the questions asked of Hera in recent years.
Additionally, Alexa is now able to suggest les to users access methods and opening hours of each individual collection centre. It is important to identify the details of drop-off stations quickly and easily because they represent a fundamental service, which complements roadside or home collection services. In these places you can bring waste for which ordinary collection is not foreseen (such as solvents, pneumatic paints ...) and which must absolutely not be abandoned.
A free service to which is added the possibility for citizens, who will use these structures (depending on the specific municipal regulation), of discounts or economic benefits.

The latest novelty is the possibility of asking Alexa to remind us through the new "notifications" function (and thanks to geolocation), even when it is the right time to put our waste on the street, ready to be collected by Hera Group operators .
