Guzzerie: the flavors of Italy on the walls of the house

Food is conviviality, fun. This is where Guzzerie was born, the Milanese brand created by Francesco Bevacqua and Lorenzo Medici. A creative interpretation of the most emblematic flavors of the Italian tradition, illustrated on recycled paper. Among the "guzzerie" the starred dishes, to bring the public closer to the great chefs in a friendly way.

Guzzerie: the flavors of Italy on the walls of the house

Since ancient times the food is conviviality and fun. In recent years, Italian gastronomy has made enormous strides forward: forgotten recipes have been revisited and perfected until they become masterpieces, like the dishes of the great starred chefs. With the evolution of flavors, plating has also had an increasingly significant weight, to the point of becoming a real art. However, haute cuisine is a world that can often inspire awe, far in terms of costs and environment.

With this idea was born Guzzerie, the project launched by Francesco Bevacqua and Lorenzo Medici. These are illustrations dedicated to the world of food, with the aim of promoting the gastronomic culture of our country in an original and playful way. An alternative way to furnish the walls of the house but also of a bar or restaurant with "guzzo", with a subject capable of involving people and arousing empathy starting from one of the strengths of our country: the gastronomy.

From carbonara to Milanese cutlet, from Neapolitan margherita to Bolognese lasagna up to starred dishes and cocktails. But that's not all, you can find prints of typical products from the regions of Italy, such as panettone, Sorrento lemon, Piacenza cup, Parmesan and many more. To underline the message also the name Guzzerie, born in Milan in 2020 and which derives from the Milanese slang "guzzo", something very tasty.

The two colleagues and friends, who have been working for many years in the world of objects and gifts, have found the inspiration for this original project in food. Originally representing the most iconic flavors of Italian cuisine on recycled paper: 15% recycled from agro-industrial by-products, 40% recycled from post-consumer paper, produced with eco-energy capable of reducing the carbon footprint by 20%.

Obviously among the "guzzerie" can not miss the dishes of the great starred Italian chefs, to bring the public closer, in a playful and friendly way, to a world which, due to costs and the environment, is not for everyone. Characterized by a sophisticated style, the prints are made on a soft yellow background, with a representation of the final dish and the list of ingredients and doses to make the dish.

Guzzerie - starred dishes

Among the starred dishes you can find: red and black gnocchi by Claudio Sadler, stuffed with pesto and marinated prawns and cardoons; creamed cod with chestnuts and pumpkin mustard by Tommaso Arrigoni, a dish with winter flavours; the flag fish parmigiana signed by Gennaro Esposito, thanks to which the spatula fish has recognized a new youth; rice with lightly smoked buffalo ricotta and anchovy sauce with red prawn tartare and black truffle by Giancarlo Morelli.

Instead, for cocktails lovers you can opt for the negroni, the spritz or the bellini. The aim is to decorate the walls of kitchens all over the world showing the excellence of dishes, products and foods typical of the different regions of Italy, making the decoration of the environment and the main destination in perfect balance.
