Greece's finance minister, Yanis Varoufakis, said today he did not expect any agreement in time for the Eurogroup meeting on Monday 11 May, but he also assured that Athens and Brussels were making progress in the negotiations.
At the meeting of finance ministers "we will certainly have constructive discussions which will confirm the great progress made and which will mark a new step towards reaching an agreement", Varoufakis said after a meeting in Brussels with the Eurocommissioner for Economic Affairs, the French Pierre Moscovici. “It's important to consolidate the progress made,” he added.
