Greece, Tsipras's halt cools but does not overwhelm the markets

The Greek tragedy has not yet finished the last act. Some creditors of Athens, starting with the IMF, have questioned the credibility of the plans presented by Tsipras, starting from the effect of the pension cuts and the amount of tax revenues. And so during the day the confidence of the markets gave way again to nervousness.

Piazza Affari closes with a drop of 0,53% to 23.443, worse than the Parisian Cac 40 -0,24%, but better than Frankfurt -0,62% and Madrid -0,71%. London +0,15% is in positive territory. The Athens Stock Exchange lost 1,7%, after two days of large increases. The yield on the 2-year Greek bond rises by 1,1% to 21%.

The tensions were felt above all in the banking sector. Unicredit loses 1,1%. Understanding -1% despite the news that the People's Bank of China holds 2,0% of the capital of Intesa Sanpaolo. Carige -5,4% on the eve of the closing of the capital increase.

Thump of Mount Paschi -2,3%. Banco Popular -0,3% Pop.Milan -0,2%. Alberto Nagel confirmed that Mediobanca will sell 1,6% of Telecom Italia -1,1% within the next week. But he ruled out the sale to Vivendi which, for now, could settle for 8,3% of the former Telefonica. Little move Eni + 0,1%. Enel -1%.

The worst blue chip is Yoox with a drop of 3,8%. Ferragamo -1,14%. Among the titles in contrast Mediaset +0,5% after advances from Rai on the improvement in advertising sales. Salt too Cairo + 2,5%.
