Linkem has exercised all the option rights on Go Internet. The latter communicates it through a note. Linkem, a shareholder of the company with a stake of 21,22%, fully exercised the option rights due to it of the capital increase of Go internet. The total value of the transaction is equal to 1.054.944 euros.
“The exercise of option rights by Linkem confirms the importance of the industrial partnership signed last year with Go internet for spectrum sharing. Thanks to this agreement, we are already transforming our portion of the Wimax network into a commercial 5G ready overlay network” commented Alessandro Frizzoni, CEO of Go internet.
“This news – continues the CEO – confirms our company's commitment to innovation in favor of consumers and comes at a propitious moment from an operational point of view. By virtue of the extension of the rights in the 3.4-3.6 GHz band until 2029, for which GO internet has already paid the amount due of 2,7 million Euros to the MiSE, we in fact have the necessary time horizon to plan the migration of the entire GO internet network in 5G, a fundamental investment to continue to grow and remain competitive".
