The cultural project Free to… LIVE of the Global Thinking Foundation arrives in Courmayeur for the tenth stage of the 2022 Tour. From Thursday 1 to Saturday 3 September 2022, Jardin De L'Ange (via Roma, 88) three days of free meetings, exhibitions and shows with the aim of spreading financial and digital education to combat economic violence and promote social inclusion actions. This year's leitmotif is cybersecurity as a response to the digital dimension of gender-based violence.

The initiative, promoted for the third consecutive year by the Global Thinking Foundation, under the presidency of Claudia Segre, takes place in collaboration with the Valle d'Aosta Regional Council, Courmayeur Mont Blanc and the Pourparler association, with the patronage of the Municipality of Courmayeur, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the EU Commission, ASviS, Pubblicità Progresso and Inclusione Donna and with the partnership of Luce! and national newspaper.

"Artificial intelligence can help to better defend against cyber attacks, which are increasingly frequent in our country, especially against the very young and elderly. According to the latest Censis report on IT security, in fact, 64,6% of citizens and businesses have happened to be the target of deceptive emails aimed at extorting sensitive data – said the president Claudia Segre –The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity in its latest focus warns of the threat arising from attacks ransomware in which Italy is among the countries most at risk, in fourth place behind the United States, Germany and France. During 2021, the Cnaipic, the National Anti-Crime Center for the Protection of Critical Infrastructures of the Postal Police, managed 5.434 significant cyber attacks, an average of 15 per day, against IT services of institutional systems, critical IT infrastructures of national interest, sensitive infrastructures of regional interest, large companies. There are 110.524 security alerts referring to threats to computer/telematic systems protected by the Centre".

Scheduled, Thursday 1st September (16pm), the workshop "Cybersecurity and artificial intelligence: the future is now”. It will conclude Franco Massi, general secretary of the Court of Auditors and president of the Regional Control Section of the Aosta Valley of the Court of Auditors. All 21.15 hours the screening of the documentary film Free to… LIVE, born from an idea of Claudia Segre to spread awareness of gender-based economic violence and its devastating consequences. Produced by Mario Tani for MAC movies, Directed by Antonio Silvestre, the docufilm tells real testimonies of abused women, interspersed with fictional images and statements by women women who work every day in Global Thinking Foundation.

The 2022 Italian Tour continues with Courmayeur with a new path of socio-cultural inclusion, which is completely renewed:

  • New Graphic Novels: the first section of the “Victorian Era Travellers” it included 3 novellas with protagonists Alexandra David-Néel, Gertrude Bell El Khatun e Mary Kingsley. With Eve Calvin the second section of the Women's Library opens, which will be integrated with new unpublished works in the course of 2022 “Women from Infinite Universes” protagonists of the scientific world.
  • New Unpublished Illustrations: in addition to “Illustrations Against Economic Violence”, the exhibition has been renewed with images from the new Gallery "Excellence in the Academy", thanks to the talent of 12 young designers selected by the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin.
  • New Comic Book Heroines: from historical heroines such as Wonder Woman e Mafalda, passing through the intriguing ones Valentina e Solange and the most recent like Eva Kant, the social message for the new generations – called to identify with today's new heroines through the AVD 1.0 learning method – is renewed with three new, incredible protagonists: the ironic Lucrezia by Silvia Ziche, the mysterious Black Widow and the magical Scarlet Witch of Marvel Comics.
  • New Thematic Galleries: born “The Gallery of the Free Warriors”, a space dedicated – on the project website and in physical exhibitions in Italy – to independent female artists under 35 who, through their art, espouse and contribute to disseminating the values ​​of gender equality, inclusion and female empowerment.
