A 2017 in recovery for made in Italy jewellery. According to the Observatory on the Gold and Jewelery Sector of The Business Strategy Department of the Italian Exhibition Group which has been staging VICENZAORO January since 19 January (www.vicenzaoro.com), And first 9 months of the 2017 show for the gold sector in Italy increasing rates both in terms of production and turnover. The average index of turnover sector total increases by 6,2% in the first nine months of 2017 compared to the same period of 2016, with +2% nationwide and a tip by 8,2% as regards foreign sales. While as regards the production the average index rises by 13% compared to the same period of the 2016.

In absolute value the Italian turnover deriving from exports nearly in September 2017 quota 5,2 billion euros (5,176 billion euros) equal to a + 13 % in value, considering in the first 9 months an average price of gold substantially similar to that of 2016. In value, exports in 2017 exceed those of 2015.

The awakening of gold jewelery worldwide can be attributed mainly to restart of consumption in IndiaRussia e USA. The last two in particular are very important for Made in Italy jewellery, which fits into this scenario with interesting rates, especially as regards the US market. In Use the trend of the demand for made in Italy jewelery and bijoux in the first nine months of 2017 it rises by 21% in value. Europe is also doing well, where growth goes against the global trend. In France, Italian exports rose by 44% in the first nine months, +14% in Germany and +22% in Spain. Always considering the aggregate jewelry and bijoux, in Russia Italian jewels report an increase in turnover of over 12%.

At the district level Alexandria in the first nine months of 2017 is the district with the highest export, with a turnover value of 1,5 billion euros. The Arezzo district follows with an export of 1,4 billion and that Vicentino  about 1 billion euros.
