Minimal growth for business confidence in Germany. L'Ifo index, in fact, recorded a very slight increase, reaching 106,8 points in February, from 106,7 in January.
German business confidence turned out to be well below analysts' expectations, who had forecast an increase of around one point, to 107,7.
Both components recorded disappointing results: the current conditions component stood at 111,3 (consensus at 112,7) and that of expectations at 102,5 (estimates at 103).
