The optimism of German investors is growing. The Zew index relating to economic sentiment in Germany rose, in fact, up to 49,6 points in September, from 42 in August. A clear and surprising improvement, if we consider that analysts had forecast a growth of 46 points.
Above all, the component relating to the current economic situation improved, at 30,6 points against 18,3 in August and a consensus of 20 points.
