Germany: Bundesbank cuts GDP estimates, only +0,6% in 2012

La Bundesbank ha cut again the estimates of growth in Germany in the two-year period 2012-2013. According to the Central Bank, next year the increase in GDP will be limited to 0,6%.

Although abrupt compared to the +3% expected in 2011, this slowdown is considered "temporary". As early as 2012, having overcome a phase of "cyclical" weakness identified "around the winter months", German economic growth should witness a "gradual strengthening" to return to + 1,8% on 2013.

Furthermore, the Bundesbank adds that it "does not expect any marked decline in theoccupation“. On the contrary, even in this respect starting from the end of 2012 we should see improvements.
