Generali: two new appointments, Trevisani leaves

Trevisani's office was assumed ad interim, with immediate effect, by the managing director Donnet. The manager will leave the group on October 31st.

Generali's board of directors, which met today under the chairmanship of Gabriele Galateri di Genola, resolved – on the proposal of the CEO Philippe Donnet and subject to the positive opinion of the nomination and remuneration committee – the entry of Isabelle into the group management committee (GMC) Conner, group chief marketing & customer officer and Monica Alessandra Possa, group chief HR & organization officer as well as the consensual termination of the employment relationship with Valter Trevisani, group chief insurance officer. His position is assumed ad interim, with immediate effect, by the managing director Donnet. Trevisani will leave the group on October 31st.

The CEO of Generali declared: “I thank Valter Trevisani for his profuse commitment and the significant work carried out in Generali and I am happy to announce the expansion of the Gmc with the entry of two excellent professionals, responsible for functions of strategic importance for the Group such as Marketing and HR”.

It should be noted that the group chief insurance officer is a related party of the company, as an executive with strategic responsibilities. The conditions for termination of the employment relationship have been favorably assessed by the nomination and remuneration committee, are in line with the Group's remuneration policy approved by the Shareholders' Meeting and do not exceed the materiality thresholds envisaged by Consob regulation n . 17221/2010. As of today, Valter Trevisani owns 28.577 shares of Assicurazioni Generali Spa.
