Generali: Christian Kanu appointed CEO of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial

The appointment will take effect from 30 January 2023. Kanu will manage the implementation of the Generali Global Corporate & Commercial business in all markets where GC&C is present.

Generali: Christian Kanu appointed CEO of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial

Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C), division of Generali Group, he appointed Christian Kanu new CEO. The appointment will take effect from 30 January 2023.

La GC&C, created in 2012, has the task of integrating and developing the non-life business and insurance services for medium and large companies on an international level.

Who is Christian Kanu

Christian Canoe, former CEO of Tokyo Marine Europe, graduated in Engineering from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome and has a master's degree in Business Administration from the Cranfield School of Management (UK). It boasts 20 years of experience in the insurance sector. He was also involved in the management of distribution networks and high-yield insurance portfolios. Over the years he has held various top positions in different markets and countries.
Task of the new CEO will be to develop the market and the business in the countries where GC&C is present, in line with the priorities of the Group's strategic plan “Lifetime Partners 24: Driving Growth".

Manlio Lostuzzi, Regional Officer International – Central Eastern Europe Region and current interim CEO of GC&C, will maintain his role at GC&C until 29 January 2023.
