Art Galleries: Giò Marconi confirmed as vice president of ANGAMC

In the annual general assembly of the FEAGA - The Federation of European Art Galleries Association, held in Basel, the board of the Federation was renewed, which represents the interests of modern and contemporary art galleries (www.europeangalleries.org) from 14 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Holland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Hungary).

The position of president has been confirmed for Adriaan Raemdonck (Belgium), as well as that of Giò Marconi, vice president of ANGAMC – National Association of Modern and Contemporary Art Galleries, within the board of directors.

The new EAGF board is therefore composed of Adriaan Raemdonck (BUP, Belgium), Ernst Hilger (Galerien-Verband, Austria), David Juda (SLAD, UK), Kristian Jarmuschek (BVDG, Germany), Giò Marconi (ANGAMC, Italy) , Annamaria Molnár (Association of Hungarian Contemporary Art Galleries) and Marion Papillon (CPGA, France).

Also on the occasion of the EAGAB Basel Annual Assembly, Massimo Minini, director of the Galleria Massimo Minini in Brescia and historic ANGAMC member, was awarded the F.EAGA Award 2017, for "the successes achieved and for having created and directed a high-end gallery level".
