The dollar slows down, the European stock exchanges slow down

The setback of the US economy has slowed down the race of European lists, now only 48 hours after Mario Draghi's measures. In Milan, the FtseMib index fell by 0,6%, the stock exchanges in Paris and Frankfurt lost 0,8% and 1%. In the meantime, the American stock market is rising: on Wall Street, the Dow Jones and the S&P500 are up by 0,5%.

In November, the Ism manufacturing sector index fell in the USA to 48,6 from 50,1 in the previous month, against opposite estimates. As a consequence, the dollar weakened against the euro, rising to 1,061 from 1,056 at the previous close. Lackluster data also for the Italian GDP. Prime Minister Matteo Renzi admitted that growth in 2015 could stop at +0,8%, below the +0,9% indicated by the government.

Going against the trend in luxury, on the third day of growth. Moncler, on investor day, it rises by 1,5%. Ferragamo +1%. Also noteworthy are the earnings of Rest +1,9% and Campari +0,6%. Among the banks it shines Banking Pop.Emilia +2,5%. They go down UnderstandingMontePaschi -0,2% Unicredit -0,5%. Generali drops by 0,6%.

Down the other blue chips. The worst is Tenaris, down 3%. The other oil companies are also weak. Eni -1,1% Saipem -0,7%. Brent loses 0,4% to 44,4 dollars a barrel. Telecom Italy loses 1,9%, they also go down Cnh Industrial -2% and Fiat Chrysler -1,4%. Prysmian falls by 2,1%.
