Even chocolate goes digital. Not what we eat, of course, which will remain as natural as possible, but the production structure of a historic player in the world of Italian cocoa becomes increasingly technological. It's about Venchi, a Piedmontese company known throughout the world for the production of chocolate of high quality and semi-finished products for ice cream parlors and pastry shops, which has just closed an agreement with Key Partner, an Italian and independent digital integrator, to integrate its business systems with those of its partners around the world.
The innovative full cloud solution, based on modern microservice architectures and Tibco technology, it will therefore make it possible to simplify business processes and face the disruptive growth foreseen by Venchi for the next few years. Specifically, as part of the digital transformation program Choco Cloud, started by the confectionery company in 2019, Key Partner has created the integration Middleware based on TIBCO Connected Intelligence technology.
The architecture based on the API-First approach allows the integration of the main Venchi information systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, Digital Channels) overcoming the old point-to-point paradigm, optimizing business processes and bringing Venchi closer to its customers. The entire project is aimed at allowing a better data management by Venchi, so as to be able to offer an increasingly personalized experience to customers all over the world.
