Funds, assets under management are close to 1.000 billion

Net inflows in the third quarter totaled a growth of 1,44 billion euro for total assets of 992 billion euro – This was announced in a report by Assogestioni: the result of the foreign-registered funds was significant, closing the quarter with 5 billion in deposits, while portfolio management lost almost 2 billion.

Net inflows from the asset management industry in the third quarter it totaled 1,44 billion euros and at the end of September assets under management were close to one trillion (992 billion against 956 billion in June). This was announced in a report by Assogestioni, which also highlights how assets are equally divided between Collective Management (496 billion) and Portfolio Management (496 billion).

Subscriptions were in fact concentrated on collective management, for a total of 3,33 billion, in particular on open funds (2,97 billion). The flows are mainly concentrated on Bond products and Flexibles. The result of the foreign-registered funds was significant, closing the quarter with 5 billion lire in funding. Portfolio management, on the other hand, closed with net outflows of 1,89 billion euro. Moreover, the performance of subscriptions for the management of pension assets was positive, with inflows of 682 million. The second quarter had closed with negative inflows of 4,47 billion, the sum of -225 million from collective management (-1,18 billion from open funds and +964 million from closed-end funds) and -4,2 billion from managed of portfolio. Since the beginning of the year, inflows have been negative by 5,97 billion, deriving from an inflow of +2 billion from collective management and an outflow of 7,95 billion from portfolio management.
