Golinelli Foundation, three conferences dedicated to art

During the two weeks of the Summer School Entrepreneurship in Humanities, the Golinelli Arts and Sciences Center offers three appointments with Christian Greco (Egyptian Museum of Turin), Simone Menegoi (Arte Fiera di Bologna) and Roberto Balzani.

Golinelli Foundation organizes a cycle of conferences free open to the public which will feature three exponents of the most prestigious realities in the art world. During the two weeks of the Entrepreneurship in Humanities Summer School, at the Golinelli Arts and Sciences Center (via Paolo Nanni Costa 14), the Foundation offers three appointments with Christian Greco (Egyptian Museum of Turin), Simone Menegoi (Bologna Fair Art) and Roberto Balzani (Museum system of the University of Bologna).

July 12 from 10 to 13 Christian Greco, director of the Egyptian Museum of Turin since 2004 and Egyptologist with extensive experience in museums, will inaugurate the cycle of appointments with a lectio entitled "Digital Revolution and Humanism: Invisible Archaeology" and will talk about how the so-called digital revolution is profoundly transforming our cognitive approach and way of working, among the others, in the field of archeology.

On the same day, from 17.45 to 18.45, an appointment with the critic, curator and contemporary art teacher will follow Simone Menegoi, current artistic director of Arte Fiera, who will talk about his experience between philosophy, visual arts and curatorship of the most important fair dedicated to Italian art of the XNUMXth and XNUMXst centuries.

On 17 July, from 17.45pm to 18.45pm, Roberto Balzani, full professor of contemporary history at the Department of History Culture Civilization and scientific director of the Historical Archive of the University of Bologna, he will talk about his professional experience as President of the University Museum System between history, conservation of cultural heritage and management of cultural institutes and important museum complexes integrated.

Finally, at 17.15 pm, before the afternoon conferences with Simone Menegoi and Roberto Balzani, it will be possible participate for free in the guided tour of the “EX3” exhibition, hosted by the Golinelli Foundation as part of the initiatives of the Arts and Sciences area. The exhibition, promoted by the Bologna Academy with the curatorship of Carmen Lorenzetti, is a site-specific solo show by Andrea Galvani and Andrea Nacciarriti between contemporary art and scientific research.
