The executive director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde has no intention of resigning after being indicted for "negligence" in the investigation of the arbitration between Bernard Tapie and the French banking group Credit Lyonnais. Lagarde herself announced it in a statement to France Press. When asked by AFP about the possibility of her resignation, the former French economy minister replied with a “No. I'm back to work in Washington as of this afternoon,” she added.
