Florida, airport shooting: 5 dead

A man opened fire at Fort Lauderdale airport in Florida, a few miles north of Miami, killing five people and wounding eight others in the baggage claim area. The killer was captured by the police: he is a 26-year-old Hispanic American, born in New Jersey and who lived in Alaska for many years. In November 2016, Esteban Santiag reportedly went to the FBI office in Anchorage, Alaska, stating that he was forced to fight for ISIS. CBS reports it, citing some sources, according to which in 2011 or 2012 Santiago had been investigated for child pornography, but the authorities had not obtained sufficient evidence to be able to report him. Later Santiag, who was in Iraq with the US army, would have spoken of "mind control attempts by the US government", which would have forced him to "watch ISIS videos".
